Lexie - October 6, 2014

Hola!
Como esta la madre mas maravillosa en todo el mundo!? Conference was great! Even if it was in spanish lol. Not going to lie I didnt understand much because it is so hard to concentrate for that long on the language. But what I did understand was really great! I am not going to lie I am feeling a little bit hate for spanish deep in my soul but Ill just keep working on it. I have to learn it! So last week I ate a chocobana! Just a banana dipped in chocolate and all cold and such and wow was that delicious. So prepare yourself for those when I get home! We went to the temple but missed the session.... sad deal. So we did initatories. They made us take our bras off? Is that normal? I can remember but I thought it was super weird. After that our president and his wife took us out to dinner and today we are goig with them to see the canyon here! I am so excited I will send pictures next week! He is so awesome. Glad to here everything is ok with taylers mission president. How crazy is that! So I go the best compliment of my life this week. Someone told me I am fat but I have a small face. Gosh people are blunt here lol. So my self esteem is through the roof right now! NOT: gosh dang it I am gaining weight and it makes me so mad. But oh well. Lets hope I am some where rediculously hot for my last area! I listened to a little bit of the john bythe way that i have on the ipod this week and he quoted something from a conference that I LOVED He said that nothing is going to suprise us more when we get to heaven than how well we know our Heavenly Father and how framliar his face is to us. How cool is that. I have realized that prayers are the most important thing here and that our prayers should never be something we have to do but something we want to do in every moment of the day. I ahve been trying to get better about having a prayer in my heart in the lesson and walking in the street to help me out here. Because honestly it is our relationship wit God that is the most important.
