emails at a more personal level when I write them, but I just wanted
to make sure you all hear from me. So this week went well. It was a
little tough finding people to teach. We didn't teach a ton and it's
been tough finding people that are willing to progress. But we're
doing alright, just have to keep at it. Fortunately there was a ton of
blessings this weekend that made up for the hard week. First off
general conference was awesome. The talks were super good and I
enjoyed it a lot. I can't wait till they're put on gospel library so I
can study them more. Also after the Sunday afternoon session we had a
baptism for Juan Carlos, an investigator that elder mark and I taught
back in SA11. That was a really spiritual baptism, I'm really happy
for him. Then today, (the reason I'm writing today), was that we went
to the temple. Also super spiritual and peaceful. So lots of spiritual
events these last few days that I have enjoyed. It's been nice to get
a little break from all the hectics of missionary life. But those were
probably the highlights for this week. There some more cool events
coming soon like Zone Conference with a seventy & as well as president
interviews. Oh and also my study in the Book of Mormon has been going
really good. Studying the Book of Mormon with a focus on the savior is
super powerful and I've been able to understand a lot more. Lots of
scriptures have taken greater meaning to me. one scripture I liked
this week in preparation for general conference was Omni 1:13. It
talks about the people having to leave into the wilderness, but how
the lord lead them and blessed them. It made me think about how when
we receive council from our leaders, they in a way ask us to leave to
the wilderness. The wilderness isn't easy, but it's a lot better than
being destroyed. So sometimes the things that leaders ask us to do
won't be easy, but they know what's best. Also we have the promise
that the lord will lead us and bless us. So that was one cool
scripture. I also liked all of Jacob, but I don't have time to talk
about all of that. But that's pretty much my week. I love you all and
hope you have a good one.
